Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide services and goods are:

Collection of information regarding any cardiovascular or endocrinal health conditions or familial history of such conditions is needed to determine the suitability of starting a personal training fitness programme. If such conditions are disclosed, there is a professional expectation that a consultation with a health care professional will be needed prior to the start of a programme. Questions about general health will also be asked but only recorded with expressed consent.

In order to provide you with our personal training services, we need to request the following special category personal data; information about your health including medical history and medical treatment you are receiving. We need this information to ensure that it is safe and appropriate to provide our services to you. We will only use this information in relation to this service and it will not be shared with anyone else.

Under GDPR there are special rules for processing Special Category personal data, we must have a lawful basis for doing so and must meat a special condition of Article 9 of the GDPR, which is explicit consent. When you provide us with special category personal data, it is with your explicit consent and our lawful basis for processing this personal data is to fulfil our contract with you.
